Editorial Policy

Effective: August 25, 2026

This policy explains how Clarivo Tech selects, prepares, reviews, and updates technology content. It is intended to make our work easier for readers to evaluate.

Editorial purpose

Clarivo Tech publishes practical technology information for readers who want to understand a concept, compare tools, or make a more informed workflow decision. Articles should answer a real reader question and provide enough context, limitations, and verification steps to be useful without requiring the reader to accept unsupported claims.

Topic selection

Topics are selected for relevance to the site’s focus: AI, software, productivity tools, cloud computing, data, privacy, and practical technology use. Search demand may help identify questions, but it is not sufficient reason to publish a page. We avoid creating many near-duplicate pages for small keyword variations.

Sources and evidence

We prefer primary and authoritative sources, including official documentation, support pages, standards publications, regulator guidance, original research, and direct product notices. Secondary sources may provide context but should not replace an available primary source for a material product or policy claim. Sources should be linked near the relevant statement when practical.

Product comparisons and reviews

An article must not claim hands-on testing, interviews, performance results, or long-term use unless that work occurred and can be described honestly. Source-based comparisons should identify the criteria used and distinguish published vendor information from independent observations. Prices, plans, and model names are treated as time-sensitive and should link to current official pages rather than be presented as permanent facts.

Accuracy and uncertainty

Articles should separate verified facts, reasonable explanations, examples, and forecasts. Predictions are presented as scenarios or evidence-based possibilities rather than certainties. High-impact legal, medical, financial, privacy, or security decisions should be referred to appropriate primary sources and qualified professionals.

AI-assisted production

AI tools may assist with organization, drafting, editing, or checks, but generated output is not accepted as evidence. Our AI Use Disclosure describes the controls applied to AI-assisted work.

Images, quotations, and attribution

Images should have a legitimate source or license, appropriate credit where required, and descriptive alternative text when they convey meaning. Quotations should be limited, accurate, attributed, and used to support commentary rather than reproduce another publisher’s work.

Monetization and conflicts

Advertising does not determine article conclusions. Material commercial relationships—including sponsorships, affiliate links, free products, or paid access—should be disclosed where relevant. Clarivo Tech does not accept payment for undisclosed favorable conclusions or paid links disguised as independent editorial references.

Updates and corrections

Articles may be updated when products, documentation, evidence, or site standards change. Material errors are corrected rather than preserved for search traffic. See the Sources and Corrections Policy for reporting details.
